PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Meta

Product Designer (L5), 2021 - 2022

Lead designer focusing on connections for Messenger Kids. Worked on various features that enabled kids and their parents to find, identify and connect with their real life friends in a safe environment.

• Closely collaborated with PM, ENG, User Research, and Data Science leads to provide end-to-end design solutions for complex friending problems for 1.4 Million kid users and their parents.
• Released/tested 10+ features for the Messenger ecosystem that involves working on Meta’s family of apps, including Facebook, Messenger, and Messenger Kids.
• Contributed to and facilitated org-wide design awareness workshops, roadmap/vision brainstorms, etc.


Zynga

Principal Experience Designer, 2020 - current

As part of the Zynga Poker Art team, designed and implemented UI/UX for major feature releases.

  • Established UI systems, art bibles, style guides, etc.

  • Provided Unity guidance and training for UX Designers, and Engineers.

UI Lead, 2016-2017

Managed the UI team to successfully launch Final Fantasy XV: A New Empire.

  • Successfully converted and integrated the visual language of an existing IP into mobile.

  • Provided style guides and feedback to the team and managed outsource artists overseas.

  • Hands on UI/UX work including wireframes, flows, key screen UI, animation, icons, banners, etc

  • Documented and cleanup of all assets for better communication and record keeping.

  • Distribution and problem solving of all incoming UI related bugs and issues.

  • Optimized and cleanup of all pre-existing assets to downsize game and increase performance.



Highbrow Inc.

Creative Director, 2012 - 2015
Lead Designer, 2010 - 2012

Led a team of 2D/3D artists, UI/UX designers, SFX specialists to deliver concepts and final assets for mobiles games, marketing art and offline merchandise. Reporting directly to the CEO, pitched concepts, wrote various documents covering style guides and UX.  Managed game localization, Facebook page for international users.  Successfully delivered 7+ titles utilizing Unity engine, and Cocos 2DX that's been features in Google Play Store and IOS App Store.

  • Established visual language for the "Dragon Village" IP with 10+ million downloads worldwide.

  • Contributed to the fast growth of company - 10 employees to 120 in 2 years without investment.

  • Integration of new software tools to simplify the design process.

  • Started and led educational workshops for artists and designers.
